Pura Vida Chocolate is crafted in Paonia, Colorado — at the base of the western slope of the Rockies in the North Fork Valley of the Gunnison River. World-class stone fruit orchards, organic farms, and vigorous viticulture surround us.

Our 12.5-acre regenerative cacao farm in Costa Rica is the source. In year one alone, with immature plants, our farm draws down an estimated 1.4 metric tons of CO2 from the atmosphere — converting it into stable carbon in soil and plant tissues.

This is the power of regenerative agroforestry — feeding people and reversing climate change at the same time. Imagine millions of farmers participating in this Ecological Revolution.
